Public notice Proof of Concept ENEA

The ENEA Proof of Concept (PoC) program will finance projects with companies, aiming at reducing the distance between research and industrial application and supporting innovation in the production sector. Interested companies will have until 12 December 2023 to apply, as described on the ENEA website, to participate in the development of a PoC project. 34 technological proposals were identified by the Agency in various thematic areas, some of which are suggested by the Technical Scientific Committee of ENEA.
The potential application fields mainly concern: chemistry and pharmaceuticals (41%); applications for the reuse of materials and circular economy processes (38%); energy production and energy efficiency (33%); agrofood (29%) and also, innovative technological solutions for applications in aerospace, for the automation of production processes, for cultural heritage and smart communities. Among the technological proposals, for example, new hi-tech sensors, advanced monitoring systems and intelligent labels.
