Gaetano VALENTI

Gaetano Valenti is transportation engineer and senior researcher in the Laboratory of Systems and Technologies for Sustainable Mobility and Electric Energy Storage at ENEA (Italian Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Environment) that conducts research and development activities on transport-related issues with the aim to promote sustainable mobility and enhance the efficiency and quality of transport systems and services.

He previously gained technical experience in transportation field working for various private and public companies. He also conducted training courses on transport planning and management for engineers, technical officers and technicians working in transportation field.

His research and professional activities have covered a broad spectrum of transportation issues and have been aimed at providing effective solutions for increasing the efficiency of transport systems, reducing energy consumption and damage to the environment through the implementation of advanced methods, model tools and technologies.

He is also author of a variety of papers and technical reports and has made various presentations on transportation issues at national and international level.
